AV Qualification Program

release of the new national

PQS, the District AV qualification program has been updated
to include the PQS into the D1 required training. See the
AV Qualification page for details.

PATON Reporting System
Updated (05 June 2011) The web based PATON
discrepancy reporting system has been overhauled, with the new
version now being on line. The
new training manual
is now available.

A note regarding the CGAux PATON
program was published by the DIR-P on the
What’s New page of the national web site
titled “PATON Mission update” on 17 March.
Please disregard that posting.
It has no bearing on the CGAux Navigations Systems work
in CG District 1 (Auxiliary Districts 1NR and 1SR).

At the March 2011 1SR District Conference in
Mystic, The Navigation Systems team was awarded the Coast
Guard Meritorious Team Commendation for their work implementing
the District's new PATON program during 2010. Pictured below is
CDR Zorman reading the commendation.
